  Warehouse: Songs and Stories Warner Brothers (LP) almost down the middle, once again leaving bassist Greg Norton as rock's ultimate silent partner. Most of Hüsker Dü's amazing power comes from Mould; to call the band guitar-based seems redundant, given that guitar, bass and drums are the only instruments credited.

  Jan 20,  · «These Important Years» is one of the best opening songs on any album I can think of, and «Bed of Nails» is his zenith as a songwriter. There's so much anger, frustration and rage in that song. And he hacks away at that Flying V like he's actually playing the strings with a nail and not a guitar pick. Side 4 is pure bliss all the way.

  Hüsker Dü foi uma banda americana de rock alternativo formada em Saint Paul, Minnesota em por Bob Mould (vocal/guitarra), Greg Norton (baixista) e Grant Hart (bateria/vocal). A banda começou tocando um hardcore punk nos moldes do Black Flag e Minor Threat, posteriormente acabou introduzindo influências de rock psicodélico e power pop dos anos ao seu som.
